RATES
The rates for FY2025, are described below. While MicRoN has been able to operate without changing the fees in the last few years, this FY we are increasing the fees to be able to support our trainees. These fees are approved by the Office of Finance in an annual basis.

**For slide scanner and high-content system, we only charge the Staff Imaging Services for experimental set up, and regular pricing for the hours the instrument automatically collects images.
NEW!!! Clearing Services (SmartBatch+ and Radiant hardware):
$140/sample + instrument usage (~65 h total full run (delipidation and primary and secondary immunolabeling) $2.5/hour = $162.5). Total per sample, assuming full protocol $302.5. (F&A not included)
Training Fees: One time fee per person and per microscope + hourly rate of the microscope. Training includes a minimum of two training sessions, ~2 h each. Small group sessions (2-4) are allowed, but the second session is always one on one. Trainees must bring samples (including controls) to the second session.
Rates are billed by booked time and by real-time usage in excess of booked time
Cancellation Policies: You must cancel your session as soon as you know you don't need it. Cancelling less than 24h in advance results in 50% charge, unless the session is booked by another user, in which case you will not be charged. No-show sessions result in FULL charge.
Prolonged used rebate (after 8 h of prolonged use in a session, e.g., timelapse imaging, overnight scanning): 55% off rates.
