Rui Yan is a postdoctoral fellow in the Tabin lab in the Department of Genetics. His research interests lie in the area of organ morphogenesis at tissue, cellular, and molecular scales. He currently works on the formation of the esophagus, trachea, and lungs in chicken and mouse embryos. Prior to joining Harvard Medical School, Rui obtained PhD in Chemistry at UC Berkeley, developing single-molecule microscopy techniques for studying intracellular physicochemical properties and membrane trafficking.
