ACCESS
The MicRoN core is open to HMS Quad Faculty, Affiliated Hospitals, External Academic and Commercial users. Priority is given to the departments of Genetics, Microbiology and Immunology and their affiliated faculty as well as GPiB trainees.
How does our training process work?

| We want to meet you and discuss your experiment! We can help you figure out which microscope is right for you. | Once you are ready to go (e.g. you have your sample), the MicRoN staff will train you in the microscope of choice. | After the hands on training, you will have an assisted session to help you gain the confidence and independence to use the scope on your own. | Congratulations, you became an independent user! We encourage you to contact us if you have questions, need help during your session or you would like help optimizing acquisition. |

- Request access in the link below ("Request Access"). You will receive an automated email with instructions to create at PPMS account and a link to the Core Director calendar.
- Please create the PPMS account. Let us know if you have questions.
- Please schedule a time that works for you to meet with the Core Director.
- EXTERNAL USERS will also need:
- A signed "User Agreement form". For External Academic/Non-profit Institutions (including HMS Affiliated hospitals) use the following FORM; For Industry/commercial, use the following FORM
- A signed Harvard Risk and Release Form, if you will need a sponsored HUID for instrument access.
- A Purchase Order to cover expected MicRoN charges (a standing PO is recommended).
